The 14th Shanghai
International Automobile Industry Exhibition (AUTO Shanghai), one of the most impressive and
highly regarded industry platforms in the international automotive industry
will open its doors from 21 to 28 April 2011 at Shanghai International Expo
Centre.
Auto
Shanghai 2011 is organized by the China Association of
Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), the China Council for the Promotion of
International Trade (CCPIT) Sub-Council and the CCPIT Automotive Sub-Council.
The co-organizers are Shanghai International Exhibition Company Ltd and IMAG –
Internationaler Messe- und Ausstellungsdienst GmbH, the international division
of the Messe München Group.
For Auto
Shanghai 2011 the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology is again
supporting an official German Pavilion on behalf of the VDA – the German
Association of the Automotive Industry. German companies in the automotive
industry will benefit from very attractive and interesting conditions within
the official pavilion.
Due to the enormous growth in the global automotive
industry Auto Shanghai 2011 will
occupy all 13 indoor exhibition halls (11 in 2009) and the outdoor temporary
exhibition halls of SNICEC. Total exhibition space in 2011 is therefore
expanding to 200,000 sq.m.
April 19 and 20 will be the Press Days and are open
for the media only. In view of the high number of visitors expected to attend
the traditional seven-day exhibition will be extended to eight days. Auto Shanghai 2011 is scheduled for 21
to 28 April 2011 (Trade days: 21 – 22 April, public days: 23 – 28 April 2011).
