Comtrans 2009, the 10th International Specialized Trade Show 'Commercial Autotransport 2009', will be held from 21 to 25 April 2009 at Moscow’s most modern trade fair centre, the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center.
 
Since its foundation in the year 2000, COMTRANS has emerged as the most important Russian trade fair for commercial vehicles, accessories and the related industry. COMTRANS in Moscow is not only a place to meet international global players from these industrial sectors, (e.g. Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Renault, Scania, Volvo, DAF, Iveco, Kamaz) but also a platform for reviewing local market demand as well as for making contacts in the Eastern European and CIS commercial-vehicle markets.
 
At last year’s COMTRANS in Moscow, 320 exhibitors presented their products and services on over 50,000 sq.m. of exhibition space. More than 18,700 trade visitors attended COMTRANS and used the trade fair as a platform for establishing top-class and long-term business contacts.
 
The application period started in the first week of November and is now in full swing. All the large manufacturers have already confirmed their participation.
German companies in the commercial-vehicles industry will benefit from very attractive and interesting conditions within the official pavilion, supported by the Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).
