Further Expansion At The Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC)

Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) is China’s leading expo centre, boasting state-of-the-art facilities. Situated in Shanghai’s Pudong district, the heart of Chinese business, SNIEC has attracted worldwide attention since its opening on 2 November 2001. Featuring a prime, easily accessible location, a column-free,
single-storey structure and a wide array of expert on-site services, SNIEC has been experiencing rapid growth. It now hosts more than 70 world-class exhibitions each year and this number is set to grow in the future.
SNIEC is jointly owned by Shanghai Lujiazui Exhibition Development Co., Ltd and German Exposition Corp., which is a joint subsidiary of Deutsche Messe AG, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and Messe München GmbH.
Currently, SNIEC has eleven exhibition halls with 126,500 square metres of indoor exhibition space and 100,000 square metres of outdoor exhibition space.
At the moment there are two halls under construction, Hall N5 with 12,340 square metres and Hall E7 with 11,500 square metres. The new halls are planned to be completed by September.
