This year’s Interauto / Moscow International Automobile Salon (MIAS) takes place from 26 to 30 August 2009. The 5th International Automobile Exhibition, Interauto, is held at the most modern fairground in Russia, the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Pavilion 3. The results of the 2008 edition testify to the dynamic development of the trade fair, its high regard among Russian and foreign experts, and also an increasing interest in the event from the wider public. The statistics for the 2008 event reveal that about 1,000 companies from thirty countries around the world participated in Interauto 2008.
 
The German government has announced there will again be an official German pavilion at Interauto 2009. German companies in the automotive industry will benefit from the very attractive and interesting conditions within the official pavilion.
