In the last ten years Korean vehicle production has
increased by more than 50 percent. Annual production in 2008 was 3,826,682
units according to KAMA. The Korean automotive
industry is a global player and an important customer for international
suppliers.
Seoul Motor Show 2009 is the most important business
platform for the Korean automotive industry and provides an excellent overview
of auto-related product categories ranging from passenger cars, commercial
vehicles and motorcycles to auto parts and accessories.
Korea’s
most important motor show will open its doors from 2 to 12 April 2009 at the
Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) in Seoul. The Press Day will be on 2 April 2009.
Taking part under the umbrella of the German joint
pavilion are ten companies from the automotive supplier sector: Brose, Webasto,
CRH, Hirschvogel and others will be showcasing state-of-the-art automotive
technology from Germany.
