The eight edition of Seoul Motor Show 2011 will be
held at KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition
Center), in Goyang City,
starting with a Press day from 1 to 10 April 2011.
The industry show, which opens under the theme “Evolution,
Green revolution on wheels” will provide a comprehensive look at a wide-range
of auto-related categories including passenger cars, commercial vehicles,
autoparts and accessories.
The biennial international exhibition, the country’s
only motor show accredited by OICA was inaugurated in 1995 and marks its eight
anniversary next year.
The last show in 2009 attracted 158 exhibitors
including automakers and parts manufacturer from 9 countries across the world
and almost 1 million visitors from 34 countries.
The most renown international car manufacturer such as
Audi, BMW, Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedez, Toyota,
Renault Samsung, Porsche, Volkswagen and Volvo have already registered for the
show.
For Seoul Motor Show 2011 the German government is planning
to again put on an official German Pavilion supported by VDA – the German
Association of the Automotive Industry. German companies in the automotive
industry will benefit from very attractive and interesting conditions within
the official pavilion.
