2007 was a successful year for the automobile manufacturers in Vietnam. With 80,392 units sold in 2007 the market grew by 97 percent over 2006, with cars and commercial vehicles seeing the biggest growth rates at 128 percent and 129 percent respectively over 2006. Vietnam’s national economy grew by a substantial 8.5 percent in 2007, which led to the high growth rate of car sales.

Vietnam Auto Expo 2008, which will be held from 11 to 14 June 2008 at Vietnam Exhibition & Fair Centre in Hanoi, Vietnam, is an excellent platform at which to experience this challenging market. It is a specialized event officially directed and sponsored by the respective government ministries and industry sectors, attracting the participation of reputed national and international brands.

Vietnam Auto Expo is an efficient tool for manufacturers wishing to enter the market, reach potential customers and build up business strategies.

In 2007 over 130 exhibitors from Russia, Japan, Korea, China, Germany, France, Iran, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand participated on 10,000 sq.m. in the show. About 45,000 people visited the show.
