The 10th Beijing International Automotive Industry Exhibition, Auto China 2008, ended with great success on 28 April. Auto China 2008 was held at a new venue, the New China International Exhibition Centre, on a total exhibition area of over 180,000 sq.m., which broke the record for domestic automotive exhibitions. It attracted participation by approximately 2,100 exhibitors from 18 countries and districts of the world, including 225 overseas exhibitors and about 1,800 domestic exhibitors. 890 cars were exhibited during the show which also created a new record. This year 31 world or Asian premieres were announced.
32 luxury cars have been sold during the exhibition with a total sales volume of over 76,440,000 RMB.

With 5,616 participants from the media, a new record was also established. 680,000 people attended the exhibition, which was 50,000 more than at last exhibition.
 
16,734 domestic and overseas reporters had applied for Press Cards. After checking, 11,190 Press Cards for domestic and overseas reporters from 5,516 media stations were issued.

On the press days, 20 and 21 April, almost 10,000 domestic and overseas reporters visited the exhibition. On the trade-only days, 22 and 23 April, 82,000 and 77,000 people respectively visited the exhibition.
