VDA, German Association of Automotive Industry, will hold its press conference during Interauto/MIAS on 27 August 2008, 12:00, at the information booth of the official German Presentation in Pavilion 2, hall 8, booth M260. During the press conference, the president of the VDA, Mr. Matthias Wissmann will introduce the journalists to the German automotive industry. All in all, 14 companies with 410 sqm are participating in the official German Pavilion.
The 4th International Automobile Exhibition, Interauto, will take place from 27 to 31 August 2008 at the most modern fairground in Russia, the Crocus Exhibition Center. Interauto 2008 will be the only official constituent of the largest automotive event for Russian motor-car enthusiasts and industry specialists, also generally regarded as the leading event – the Moscow International Automobile Salon (MIAS 2008). The fair is supported by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d’Automobiles (OICA). The International Automobile Salon 2008 will be the main event in the Russian automotive calendar this year. With most car manufacturers present, Interauto 2008 will be able to use the synergies and attract both high-ranking trade visitors from the OEMs as well as many visitors from the aftermarket sections.
 
Interest in the event is already very high and allocation of space has already started. All important car manufacturers and important suppliers like Delphi, Magneti Marelli, Schaeffler, Edag and Brose have already confirmed their participation.
