IAP 2008 - Iran Int'l. Auto Parts
Exhibition – Show introduction
Due to the high demand in motorization the Iranian
automotive industry with an average growth of 25 percent, is one of the fastest
growing sectors of the Iranian economy. The Iranian government endeavours to
build up a high capacity car production and boost modern technologies. The
output in the passenger car sector should increase from 920,000 units in
2006/2007 to 1 million units in 2008. The demand of supply and spare parts is
increasing accordingly. The annual imports currently represent between 3 – 4
billion US $.
To meet the demands of the automotive industry three
years ago the Iranian Auto Parts Manufacturers Association (IAPMA) launched a
specialized annual exhibition for the automotive supplier industry, the Iran
International Auto Parts Exhibition (IAP).
The third Iran International Auto Parts Exhibition
will be held from 11 to 14 November 2008 at the Tehran Permanent Fairground.
The last edition attracted over 530 companies,
including 420 Iranian exhibitors and 120 foreign firms from Italy, India,
Turkey, China, France, Germany, Portugal, England, Spain, Taiwan, UAE and
Thailand showcasing their latest products and technologies on 14,000 square
meters exhibition space.
The IAP provides an excellent platform with the latest
products and technologies, ranging from die-casting and metallurgy, press
shops, electronics, power train, rubber & plastic, trim, suspension, standard
parts to pumps, filters & locks, glass, light and mirrors and tools and
machinery as well as designing & engineering.
The IAP is an efficient tool for international
automotive suppliers to enter this challenging market, reach potential
customers and build up business strategies.
