Automotive
Electronics South China 2008 in conjunction with Nepcon South China 2008 was a
resounding success. The trade show specializing in the automotive electronic
sector was held from 26 to 29 August 2008 at the Shenzhen Convention &
Exhibition Center, South China.
Automotive
Electronics/Nepcon South China attracted more than 20,000 trade visitors, of
which more than 93 percent agreed that this event is fully representative of
the industry.
Worldwide
demand for cars has been greatly boosted by the massive Chinese consumer boom,
and consequently the Chinese market is setting the pace of demand for
automotive electronics. Forecasters predict that by 2015, electronic contents
will account for 40 percent of the cost of a typical mid-sized car.
Thanks to
the initiative of Bayern International GmbH and the Free State of Bavaria seven
Bavarian companies in the automotive and electronic sector took part in the
Bavarian Group Participation at Automotive Electronics South China 2008.
