The 20th Automechanika strongly confirmed its role as the leading international trade fair for the automotive industry. New records were set this year, with more than 166,000 visitors from a total of 146 countries and 4,680 exhibitors from 80 countries. The share of international visitors has increased to some 50 percent.
Many of the Automechanika exhibitors are highly positive about the increase in international visitors. The top three visitor countries from Europe after Germany are the UK, Italy and Poland. When it comes to countries outside of Europe, the US, China and Brazil lead the way.

Visitor satisfaction at the 20th Automechanika reached an impressive 95 percent. Interest was particularly high in the results of the Automechanika Study, the Automechanika Innovation Award and the 'Green Directory', which for the first time informed visitors about environmentally relevant products and services.
