The IAA Commercial Vehicles 2008 exhibition closed its doors on 2 October with a new record number of visitors.

“This IAA is the most successful commercial-vehicle trade fair so far. It has set new standards in all ‘disciplines’ and more than met our expectations. It has taken up a stronger position than ever before as the world’s most important trade fair for mobility, transport and logistics, and improved its lead. It is the showcase for the innovative capability of our industry,” stressed Matthias Wissmann, President of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), at the IAA’s concluding press conference in Hanover.
