Auto Expo 2010 will open its
doors from 5 to 11 January 2010 at the Pragati Maidan Exhibition
Centre, New Delhi / India. The Indian automotive industry has witnessed
an
unprecendented boom in recent years, owing to the improvement in living
standards of the middle class, and a significant increase in their
disposable
incomes. With the launch of the world’s most economical car,
India has become the global hub for
its cost competitive and technologically advanced automotive products.
With 2,000 exhibitors, 1,800,237 visitors and an
exhibition area of 120,000 sq.m., AUTO EXPO is India’s largest and most important
event for automobiles and automotive components. Taking place every two years,
AUTO EXPO is an ideal platform for the international automotive industry. The
event is recognised by many international companies as a gateway to the large
Indian market. For many exhibitors, including a range of global market leaders,
the exhibition has become a regular date in the diary. Trade visitors seeking
information on current themes in the automotive industry are also attracted by
the high-ranking trade seminars and symposia that accompany the event.
Continuing on the theme ‘Mobility for all’, the 10th
