Auto China 2010 - Only A Few Booths Still Available


Auto China 2010 will take place from 23 April to 2 May 2010 in Beijing. The show will be held simultaneously in two venues: China International Exhibition Center Tianzhu Venue and Jinganzhuang Venue. The press days will be on 23 and 24 April 2010. The trade days will be 25 and 26 April 2010. The section for automotive suppliers will end on 27 April 2010.
 
Auto China, which is held once every other year, attracts much attention from the industry, media and the public. Positioned as a perfect platform for demonstrating corporate image, promoting products and brands, displayin high technology and exchanging information, the biennial event has already become one of the most important automobile exhibitions in China.
 
With a 20,000 square-metre display area, the first Auto China, held in 1990, attracted 372 exhibitors and 273 vehicles from seventeen countries and regions. A total of 100,000 people visited the show. For the first time Auto China 2004 presented world premiere vehicles in Beijing from multinational OEMs. The show was also listed as one of the A-class auto shows that multinational automakers will attend.
 
Auto China 2008 set many new records: for the first time, the exhibition was held in the New China International Exhibition Center, which covers 180,000 square metres; The total audience reached 680,000, including 30,000 visitors from abroad; 2,100 exhibitors from eighteen countries and regions took part in the exhibition, among them were 225 exhibitors from overseas. 10,120 reporters from China and abroad reported on the event and 890 vehicles were on display, including 55 concepts and seven world debuts vehicles from multinational automakers.
 
With the soaring economy in the most populous country in the world, China is welcoming a hot and prosperous automobile consumption market. China’s passenger vehicle market ended last year with a 59 percent year-on-year sales increase to surpass the US as the world’s largest auto market for the first year. Domestic sales hit 10.26 million units last year, surging from 6.4 million units in 2008. As one of the most important emerging markets, China has been proved to be the most dynamic market in the world.
 
Auto China 2010 will be a good platform for OEMs and suppliers at home and abroad to communicate and expand co-operations in the largest emerging auto market.
