Vietnam
Motor Show 2010, the most important automobile exhibition in Vietnam, will
be held from 29 October to 2 November 2010 at the Vietnam Exhibition &
Fair Centre (VEFAG) in Hanoi/Vietnam. This is the sixth Vietnam Motor Show organized by the Vietnam Manufacturer’s
Association (VAMA).
Eleven VAMA members – Toyota Motor Vietnam, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam,
Ford Vietnam, Honda Vietnam,
Isuzu Vietnam, GM-Daewoo,
Vinastar, Mekong, VMC, Samco and Hino – have
already registered for the show. Numerous automotive suppliers from Vietnam and
abroad are expected to display their new products and technologies.
The exhibition will be accompanied by an international
specialized seminar. This seminar, focusing on hot topics in the automobile
industry and market in Vietnam,
provides an important forum for policymakers, researchers, and domestic and
foreign manufacturers.
It is predicted that Vietnam
will become a leading market in Southeast Asia.
In the long term the market is expected to grow considerably, thanks to the
country’s sizeable population of 85 million. Vietnam is increasingly becoming a
good location for auto parts suppliers. The growing interest from international
manufacturers in Vietnam and
the proximity to other Asian countries makes Vietnam the perfect place from
which to cater for demand on the Asian market.
